Techscaler
Silicon Valley

A 2-week programme in October 2026, designed for founders who have already begun engaging with the market in the United States. Apply now!

This programme supports you to move beyond initial conversations, experience Silicon Valley’s thriving digital tech scene first-hand, build on existing connections, and establish a strong, credible presence within the ecosystem.

About the Programme

This programme consists of two weeks on location in San Francisco, as well as pre-departure activities, designed to help you:

  • Leverage the power of Silicon Valley as an international business and tech hub
  • Strengthen relationships with industry partners, buyers, and innovation leaders
  • Build connections and explore opportunities enabled by San Francisco Tech Week
  • Shape a clear and credible strategy for your US market expansion

This is a supported, participant-led experience. We’ll set the scene, support you to define your strategic priorities, and provide mentorship, while you drive your own business development on the ground.

Why Silicon Valley?

Silicon Valley provides unparalleled opportunities for founders to learn, network, and grow their ventures in the Bay Area of California, home to the highest concentration of tech startups and investors worldwide.

Techscaler’s overall mission is to provide a platform to amplify Scotland’s entrepreneurial ambition, and we want to create tangible value for early-stage companies across fintech, health, climate, and enterprise AI software companies seeking engagement with the US market.

The timing of this programme aligns with San Francisco Tech Week creating a dense schedule of high-value events and meetings.

Who is this for?

We’re looking for up to 10 ambitious participants who meet the following profile:

  • Founders, co-founders or senior leaders
  • Revenue-generating business (at least £1k+/month; flexible for regulated sectors)
  • Have existing customers in, paid pilots from, or investment from the US or has at least already started engaging with US partners and can demonstrate meaningful traction

Looking to get a head start? Read our guide to help you prepare your application, sharpen your positioning, and demonstrate real traction.

We will be prioritising participants who are either working on raising money or gaining customers based in the US. If you don’t think you meet all of these criteria but believe this opportunity is the right next step for your company, we still encourage you to apply as we will review your US expansion plan as part of the application process.

You must be a Techscaler member and able to represent both your company and Scotland’s tech ecosystem professionally. Please note that you can’t apply on behalf of someone else.
