Techscaler Singapore 2026

A 2-week programme in Singapore this Autumn (24 October - 7 November 2026), designed for Techscaler members within the Medtech, Healthtech, Biotech, or Life Sciences sectors who are interested in, or have already begun engaging in Singapore and other APAC markets.

This programme takes you beyond initial conversations and into one of Asia’s most dynamic startup ecosystems. You’ll expand your global network, connect with local founders, investors, and customers, explore a new market, and discover how to scale across Southeast Asia. Aligning with Singapore’s Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), this 2-week trip ensures a focused schedule of high-value events and meetings.

About the Programme

This programme consists of 2 weeks on location in Singapore, as well as a series of pre-departure activities, designed to help you:

  • Leverage the power of Singapore as a strategic entry point into the Southeast Asian tech ecosystem
  • Strengthen relationships with industry partners, buyers, and innovation leaders
  • Build connections and explore opportunities enabled by SWITCH
  • Shape a clear and credible strategy for your market expansion into the Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) region

This is a supported, participant-led experience. We’ll set the scene, support you in defining your strategic priorities, and provide mentorship, while you drive your own business development on the ground.

Who is this for?

We’re looking for up to 10 ambitious participants who meet the following profile:

  • Are founders, co-founders or senior leaders
  • Represent a startup operating within the Medtech, Healthtech, Biotech, or Life Sciences sectors
  • Are at early stage or beyond
  • Have a product or technology mature enough to engage customers and partners
  • Have a regulatory strategy aligned with the APAC market and/or are revenue-generating
  • Have identified key regional partners for regulatory or commercial milestones in the APAC region, can demonstrate a credible engagement strategy and evidence meaningful traction

If you want to learn more about this programme ahead of applying, you can hear from last year’s participants here.

Don't fit the industry focus? If you are interested in the opportunities presented by this programme, but don’t fit the industry focus, we’ll be announcing our Hong Kong programme in the first week of September, so please keep an eye out.

We will be prioritising participants who are either working on raising money or gaining customers/pilots based in Singapore and the wider APAC region. If you don’t think you meet all of these criteria but believe this opportunity is the right next step for your company, we still encourage you to apply as we will review your expansion plan as part of the application process.

You must be a Techscaler member and able to represent both your company and Scotland’s tech ecosystem professionally. Please note that you cannot apply on behalf of someone else.

Why Singapore?

Singapore acts as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asia, providing a highly structured, pro-innovation environment for regional expansion. Engagement in Singapore positions Scotland within a globally connected ecosystem that values credibility, long-term collaboration, and government-aligned innovation, while offering founders practical insight into scaling across diverse Southeast Asian markets.

Techscaler’s overall mission is to provide a platform to amplify Scotland’s entrepreneurial ambition, and we want to create tangible value for early-stage companies across medtech, healthtech, energy, climate, and green technology companies seeking engagement with the Singaporean and wider Southeast Asian market. Additionally, founders can leverage this time on the ground to build early investor relationships long before their next major funding round. The timing of this programme aligns with SWITCH, creating a dense schedule of high-value events and meetings.
