Meet the 2026 ScotSoft Cohort

Today 14 of Scotland’s most innovative and ambitious startups are heading to ScotSoft 2026. 

SoftSoft is Scotland’s annual technology and software conference pulling in builders and leaders in the sector and this year Techscaler is proud to be a core sponsor. ScotSoft is smaller than most tech conferences, which makes it easier to have real conversations with buyers, investors and potential partners. This year's agenda covers the practical side of AI adoption, including agentic AI, defensible product design, cybersecurity and governance, alongside the new AI Scotland stream. 

The 2026 cohort covers a wide range of sectors, from robotics and edtech to fintech, healthtech and space. Between them, they're building everything from social robots for care at home to a credit platform for people with little or no credit history.

Alexandre Colle - Konpanion 

Konpanion develops expressive social robots for companionship, care and practical support at home. 

Euan Walls - Levara 

Levara is a Glasgow-based software studio that builds and runs its own products, and partners with a small number of founders and businesses to turn ideas into software that can scale. 

Emma Loy - Shifty 

Shifty is an online marketplace for shift based work, designed to make flexible work better for everyone.  

Maria Makarova - DogTok AI 

DogTok AI is an AI-powered app that interprets dog behaviour in real-time, offering pet owners tailored guidance on training and communication. 

Hugh Williams - ORCA-CRM 

ORCA-CRM is a fully customisable CRM platform that shapes around how your team works. 

Lukasz Poplawski - Arran Logic 

Arran Logic is an Edinburgh company that designs and builds SaaS products, bespoke software and AI tools for businesses. 

Edoh Agbenokoudji - JYLE

JYLE is an EdTech company delivering extracurricular robotics workshops and is behind the 123Robot system and competition. 

Marcus Kamuntu - Sendix 

Sendix is an AI compliance tool that helps multi-academy trusts write legally sound Education, Health and Care Plans, reducing the risk of losing costly SEND tribunal cases. 

Muzafar Ahmed - Monkbun 

MonkBun is a small, handheld mindfulness device that helps you pause and breathe.

Ola Olaleye - Faciit 

Faciit is a fintech platform that helps people with little or no credit history access affordable borrowing through a savings-led approach to credit assessment.  

Matthew Miller - Podspectrix 

Podspectrix is developing imaging software that uses multiple data types and AI to detect diabetic foot ulcers before they form.

Martins Otun - Algonix AI 

Algonix AI is an AI agent-based discovery platform that approaches chemistry the way a scientist would, it proposes candidate polymers, tests them against real physics and works out the full synthesis route before moving on. 

Anki Pawar - Orbital AI Space 

Orbital AI Space designs onboard software that lets small satellites diagnose their own faults and act on them.

Vinod Sharma - Sensecloud 

Sensecloud is building Whispor, an intelligence platform that helps procurement teams improve strategic negotiations with real-time AI assistance and extend negotiation coverage.
