Later this month, four women-founded startups will be joining Techscaler at the AXA headquarters in Paris for the third edition of the InvestHer Summit. The summit runs from the 27-28th of October and pulls together an intimate network of 200 founders and investors together for two days of fireside chats, breakout sessions and panels focused on access to capital and markets.
For these founders and senior leaders the value lies in the curated and intimate format of the summit. With only a small pool of global investors and founders in the room, the cohort will have ample opportunity to connect directly with decision-makers, pitch their visions, secure capital and build international relationships.
As part of the programme, the companies will also showcase their technologies at a stand in the Buy From Her Marketplace, situated in the highest-traffic area of the venue to maximise exposure and commercial leads.
Meet the cohort:
From AI talent assessment to reusable drinkware, meet the four innovative startups representing Techscaler at the InvestHer Summit this year:
Clare Daly, CEO, Dynamigo
Dynamigo uses dynamic assessment and AI to measure how people learn and adapt rather than looking solely at current skills, so organisations can make better talent, development and reskilling decisions.
Natalie Garry, Founder and CEO, danceSing
danceSing is a digital health platform that uses music, movement, mindfulness and technology to help older adults stay physically, cognitively and socially healthy for longer. Check out our case study on Natalie here.
Eve Wildman, Founder and CTO, RIPCELL
RIPCELL turns whisky distillery byproducts into high value, bio-based chemicals for cosmetics, personal care and other industrial uses.
Lesley Thomson, Founder and CEO, Nudge Innovations
Nudge Innovations designs reusable drinkware and rapid cleaning stations that make reuse and refill practical in everyday life.
What they want from the summit:
When we asked the cohort what they hoped to gain from the summit, meeting investors came out on top of the list. With upcoming investment rounds on the horizon for each company, the immediate priority is establishing relationships with active investors who can participate in their raise or offer strategic guidance as they prepare.
Beyond investors, the cohort hopes to meet potential customers and international partners. Those introductions could help them test demand and find routes to scale outside of their home market.
The curated and intimate nature of the summit is designed to build those exact relationships.
Here’s what the founders will get:
- Access to a curated room full of active global investors, corporate partners and policy shapers looking to fund scaling businesses.
- Space at the “Buy From Her” Marketplace to showcase their product, present live demos and drive direct commercial leads with international buyers and partners.
- Pre-departure session on logistics and goal setting and dedicated on-site support from Delegation Lead Jennifer Forbes Iannolo, VP of Business Acceleration at CodeBase.
From Scotland to Paris
For these companies, a summit like InvestHer offers the direct visibility needed when preparing to raise capital and enter new markets. We’re looking forward to seeing what the cohort brings back from Paris!
